Cobalt Miner's Intermediate 1949-50
Cobalt, which had a population of 20,000 at its peak, had an opera house, three or four theatres, a radio station, five hotels and lots of hockey. The first game the Montreal Canadiens ever played, in 1910, was a 7-6 overtime win against Cobalt.
